Alice in Wonderland Jr. is a one‑act musical about a curious girl named Alice who follows a White Rabbit into the strange and whimsical world of Wonderland. On her journey, she meets colorful characters like the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the Caterpillar, and the Queen of Hearts, all while everything around her feels silly, confusing, and upside down. By the end of the story, Alice learns to be confident in who she is and wakes up back at home, realizing that her wild adventure has helped her better understand herself.

YOUTH THEATRE WORKSHOP INFORMATION

 

What Is This Program?

This is a one-week immersive theatre experience where students rehearse, collaborate, and perform a fully staged production of DISNEY'S DESCENDANTS. Students explore acting, movement, music, and ensemble work in a supportive, age-appropriate environment—whether they’re brand new to theatre or already experienced.

Dates & Schedule

• Workshop Dates: July 27 – August 1

• Daily Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Performance: August 1 at 4:00 PM
  Participants may arrive as early as 8:30 AM and be picked up as late as 5:30 PM if needed.

No experience is required.

• New students: No audition preparation needed

• Experienced students (optional):

  • 16–32 bars of a song

  • Dance audition taught on the spot

​

Auditions take place on the first day of the workshop and are used for role placement—not acceptance. Every registered student participates in the show.

Performance Day Details

• Arrival: 9:00–9:30 AM

• Performance: 4:00 PM

• Costumes: Provided (no eating while in costume)

• Lunch: Not provided on performance day
  All seating is reserved; ticket links will be shared with families.
